The Australian Alumni Grants Fund (AAGF) supports Vietnamese alumni from Australian education institutions to implement projects that consolidate their professional knowledge and skills, contribute to change in Vietnamese organisations and communities, and strengthen linkages between Australia and Vietnam.
Since 2017, the AAGF has provided over A$2.2 million in funding to projects led by 460 alumni, addressing issues such as governance and economic growth, infrastructure, sanitation, education, gender equality, agriculture, regional stability, disability inclusion, climate change, and health.
Grants are issued on a competitive basis once each year. The maximum duration for a project is 12 months and the maximum grant depends on the number of alumni leading the project.
